Screenplay

We see the spacecraft from the outside. The Moon is visibly growing as it seems to plunge up beside them -- they are passing into a hyperbola behind it. The tug flips over to point the rocket along the orbit for the burn.

Clips of interior and exterior views of the action. Pilot monitors the pitchover. Passengers get into their hammocks. The goats bleat. Instruments, with a count-down timer. Silent exterior view of the rocket as it suddenly stops. They are in orbit.

Direction

We see the spacecraft from the outside. The Mooon is visibly growing as it seems to plunge up beside them -- they are passing into a hyperbola behind it. The tug retracts its solar wings, then slowly flips over to point the rocket along the orbit for the burn.

We see inside the cockpit as the pilot monitors the pitchover procedure and gets his bearings. We see the passengers inside securing themselves into their fabric hammocks.

From the surface of the moon, we look up to see a dot of light moving across the sky, which then spouts flame as the rockets fire.

We see upclose, as if in plan view, of the ship against the craters of the Moon which are passing by quickly. The rocket is now firing.

We see the passengers and crew in the transfer module. They are now under about one gee of thrust, and the camera obeys the local gravity-orientation.

A close up of the goats bleating -- now standing unsteadily on the boost-floor of their cage.

Console view of instruments showing the burn. A count-down timer shows the time remaining.

We see the exterior of the spacecraft as the rocket suddenly stops again. The craters are now moving at a more sedate pace.
